Hi, I’m Sam, the hands and heart behind Isle of Essence, with my partner Liam always by my side, helping and supporting this dream of mine!

What began as a small creative escape has grown into something deeply rooted in who I am today — someone learning to slow down, care for myself, and live with more intention.

I’ve always loved making things that feel good to use, but now my focus is on keeping them as simple, natural, and purposeful as possible.
I swapped fragrance oils for pure essential oils, crafting blends that don’t just smell beautiful but also support everyday wellbeing — whether you’re seeking calm, focus, a mood boost, or a better night’s sleep.

The Island's Inspiration

Everything is made here on the Isle of Wight, where life moves a little slower and nature is always close. The sea, the shifting seasons, and the stillness of the island inspire every blend I pour and create.

What are Isle of Essence wax melts made from?

Our melts are made from a natural wax blend and 100% pure essential oils — no synthetic fragrance, glitter, or artificial colourants.

Do you ship outside the UK?

We currently ship across the UK. For international orders, please contact us first.

Are your products handmade?

Yes! Every melt is hand-poured here on the Isle of Wight in small batches.

How do I use Isle of Essence wax melts?

Break a disc in half, place it in your burner, light an unscented tealight (or switch on your electric warmer), and let the fragrance fill your space.

Are your melts safe for pets?

Some essential oils can be harmful if inhaled in large amounts. Always keep your space ventilated and allow pets to leave the room if they wish.

How long does the scent last?

Each half-disc gives 6–8 hours of scent, depending on burner type and room size.
